Why do men love comparing hand size to you?

I’ve had many guys do this since my teens and I find it is really cute.

I have pretty small hands and feet.

The other day I sent a pic of the view from my house and my hand got in there.
When the guy saw my hand he said my hands are so small and cute and then he started showing off his hands and sending them to me

saying “you see how big they are?”

Lol, what goes in their head when they do this? I find it pretty cute actually and always play along.

well, exactly that... is just a funny thing to do at the moment, and it is cute, just being friendly while hanging out since I do this with friends or acquaintances, never done it with s stranger or someone I do not know... that would be kind of weird

however... I have done it more in particular, with someone I liked or had an interest on... lol, but that is not always the case
