Why do guys compare hand sizes with a girl?

I always wanted to know why guys would come up to me and say,"Omg your hands are so tiny compared to mine!" and they would press my hand to their hand. Also they would compare leg sizes and foot sizes with me.
I don't understand why they do this.

You may be one of those girls that is tiny and cute to most people. Big guys, especially. I'm skinny and narrow and short (not SHORT, but not very tall) and my guy makes me look tiny! Other than him, I usually don't get picked on for my size. I'm not one of those girls that gets hand sizes and stuff compared. There are girls that are, though. You may just be one of them.

basically i like comparing hand size with a girl, and find out that her hand is BIGGER.

generally i've got small hands, and i love girls with bigger hands
