Me and my boyfriend only see each other on weekends. He doesn't fill me in on what he does on weekdays after work. Is that common?

After work, he usually just talks to me on the phone in his car for 10 minutes. He talks about his day, gets off the phone, and then doesn't text me throughout the evening. He doesn't update me or fill me in on what he's doing after work. He texts me before bed but all he says is good night. Is it common for men to do this in relationships?

When you're in relationship and don't live together it's pretty normal to discuss what your plans are for the evening or what you have been up to. Not every tiny detail but most things. To leave it out completely is strange. Red flags to me!
