I swiped right and he asked me to add photos. I added pics and then after some time he declined my interest in him. He was looking for something serious and I don't even dress like a slut. Is it all because I'm ugly?

I feel like your jumping to conclusions way too fast and not considering the various possibilities. Assumptions are a blade cutting against your skin and often times they are baseless and your just cutting yourself for no reason. Perhaps he thinks your ugly, sure, but perhaps your just not his type. Everyone has a certain type, a certain look that they admire or love above all else and to say your ugly just because he declined you just doesn't give enough explanation to jump to that conclusion.

I am a thinker, an overthinker so I understand why you came to this conclusion, but I believe the real issue that needs to be dealt with here is that "You" yourself think you are ugly. Your never going to be beautiful if you can't look in the mirror and tell yourself you are. Living in such a superficial world of lies and photoshop it is hard to find selfworth sometimes and to love yourself, especially with the constant notion that you gotta have a rocking thin bod or breasts the size of melons.

Simply put, the one who is making you feel ugly right now is you and only you can change that. Learn to love yourself first than other things will come in time, but insecurity can really wreck you.

I agree with others. First off I find it weird he asked you to add photos to begin with, unless you didn't have any. But it sounds like he was looking for something specific, and you didn't match what he was looking for, but doesn't mean you're ugly. He may not even think that, just not what he wants. If you can reverse it and think of guys that you've maybe thought the same thing, they weren't ugly, but not for you. Never take anything on dating sites or apps personally ever! People do this all the time. Might start talking to you and then they're gone (ghosting). Happens to me all the time.

Yeah, I agree with boggboss. Someone that doesn't think you're attractive or attractive enough, doesn't have be because they think you're ugly. Though, the whole swiping thing is inherently superficial, so if somebody doesn't respond after you send them pics, it stands to reason that they don't find you attractive enough, and I imagine that on an app or site like that, the reason that they don't find you attractive would be because they don't think you're good looking enough.

Still, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because one guy doesn't find you attractive, doesn't mean others won't find you extremely attractive.
