Would it be inappropriate dress up when meeting up with a guy friend or male acquaintance?

I've changed my wardrobe recently and i have noticed that people both women and men giving me compliments. My guy friends and male acquaintances overflood me with compliments. Even guys who had no romantic interest in me seem to treat me differently. Im just worried that looking a little extra glamorous will get all my male acquaintances attracted to me. Should i dress a little uglier whenever i meet up with a guy versus a girl?

Depending on the guy at bar or wherever, all the guys may help. Catch his eye with the guys around, get up, and talk. Good for him cause he knows you’re with Safety zone.
