Ok I have been “seeing” this guy for nearly 3 months. We hang out every weekend or every 2nd weekend at least. He keeps in touch with me when we aren’t together, he’s invited me to meet his friends and family, I even got invited to a wedding he’s going to next year! Although, it’s fun and we are having a good time, he still hasn’t told me how he feels about me or us? He’s giving me boyfriend vibes when we are together, very all of over each other when ever we can. But we still haven’t discussed what we are! Is he seeing other people? I just want him to ask me or tell me before I have too. Or do you think I should just wait and go with the flow like I am? Surely it’s not just me that is feeling crazy about how we feel about each other. Is it true that guys can be a bit weird with opening up? Or maybe he just wants to be friends? But why would he invite me to his friends wedding for next YEAR. ughh. Help lol

Are you having sex? That would be a reasonable time to ask if he's seeing anyone else.

Anyway all indications are that he thinks it's serious. You've met his friends and family. What do you want? Just ask him where he sees this going? Does he see a future with you or he just having fun? If he sees a future with you, what does that mean? Cohabitation? Marriage? Children? Now is the time to get the answers you need, so you don't waste a years with a man who doesn't share your goals.

I expect he already believes you are his girlfriend. I've never asked anyone to be my girlfriend, but I've had girlfriends.

It really does sound like he thinks its serious, he is probably afraid of ruining things between the two of you by trying to slap a label on it.

Not so much ruin, more like make things awkward. Considering you seem to be in an exclusive intimate relationship, he probably believes there is a mutual understanding of where the relationship stands. If he has to state it at this point it, he probably feels as though its questioning the nature of the relationship. I also personally know several people who prefer not to label their relationships as they feel it complicates things and make things more obligatory rather than just spending time and enjoying each others company.

Typically it is stated, but usually much sooner than month 3 of what seems to be a very affectionate and intimate relationship.

This happened with me and I didn’t want to overthink so I asked him what’s going on. He said that he had already assumed that we’re together and didn’t say anything because it was obvious. Yes, men function weirdly. I think you should just ask him.
