What's drunk? Legally? Morally? People at bars, especially those who have been there for awhile and are actively doing what most people do at bars, are usually at one level of inebriation or another. Do we need to be given a breathalyzer test when we want to talk to someone at a bar with behavior that may be considered 'hitting on' behavior? And should the person you're talking to be given a breathalyzer test to respond?

Also, what constitutes 'hitting on' someone? Asking someone's name? If they're from around here? If they're a regular at the establishment? Buying them a drink? Buying them a drink but not knowing it's their eighteenth of the night (maybe they hold their liquor well), therefore contributing to their inability to, I dunno, be hit on? Consent?

It's not a question that can be answered with any real kind of certainty.
