Guys, Did he run because he was scared?

Why would a guy claim say he loves a girl as a close friend but while in a drunken state say it in a different way and tell her to run to him but then claim to not remember any of it? Please know they’ve been talking for months almost every day, sharing stories, secrets, likes and dislikes, commonalities etc. then all of a sudden he blocks her from everything without reason…. Also note both are in rocky relationships.

Just give him space and clean your relationship and who knows maybe if you go clean slate if your relationship is going through a shredder he will catch on to get his life/relationship in line.
