Do you have a bias when sat next to the opposite sex?

I does for example I tend to make sure she and I are not touching and that there is space. If it's a guy it's more who cares free-for-all for the space lol.
Giving women space because I get awkward, less carefree especially if said woman is attractive.
I would imagine at least one other person does this. Or maybe it's just me.

I don’t place much importance on gender regarding this because I don’t feel comfortable around strangers. Regardless of gender, I’d feel awkward if they sat too close to me. I like my space and even around family, I have never sat too close with anyone. This is going to sound weird, but even hugs are too awkward for me. I do offer hugs whenever someone is feeling down because it can cheer them up and I like cheering people up.

If the guy is attractive.. well, I wouldn’t even sit next to him, lol. I’d probably be blushing or smiling like a weirdo half the time and he may get creeped out. I don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.
