this is just an opinion/my experience and I really respect all genders
I have lived my whole life with females as I was the only brother of my 3 sisters and I am not a outdoor person and had no friends. I have always respected and still respect every women and I appreciate the effort that they put in their everyday life as many of them do jobs and also manage the home and kids.
now about the change that a woman brings in someone a mans life.
many of us want to grow and do many things and work on them and we don't have to deal with big responsibility in before being in a relationship. but once we get into an relationship our responsibilities get bigger and our decisons can effect others life too. so we think carefully about most of the stepa taken in life.
I am a guy that loves to code and play games and this is what I mostly did and I was happy without any regular jobs and I was working on building my skills on coding and games and this is what I want my profesional life be, but after getting engaged with the love of my life, I started looking for a job and applied to one so that I can start growing my self so I can fullfill my responsibilities and keep her happy and to pursue my dreams of coding and gaming I started to manage my time well.
getting someone in my life has made me more happy, productive and is helping me grow as a person.
but this mostly happen when both the man and the women has understanding between each other.
and I think it has nothing to anything with someone being progressive or different.
I think changing of someone (man or woman) after being in a relationship depends on the love for each other, understanding and respect between each other and felling each other needs and wants.
Honestly I couldn't tell you. Because it seems like the definition of progressive is constantly in a state of flux these days. So what is a Progressive Man to one person isn't going to be to another person. You can apply that to Progressive in terms of genders, socially and even politics.
So my advice for everyone is to get a Unabridged Dictionary and start reading. Simply because the vast majority of dictionary are edited down with every knew addition. While a Unabridged Dictionary isn't. So you get every definition of a word, every meaning of a word and many examples of a word being used in it's proper context.
That way we can get to a point where don't get pissed when someone points out that are using a word out of context or their definition of the world isn't correct due to it not being a dictionary. Or people can continue to give like me and others a reason to correct their use of a given word.

When I was in my teens and twenties I had many lesbian experiences. I think in the past women had lesbian lovers and just married their husband's and like every so often when their men were away indulged themselves with another woman.
1. Mentally weak. 2. Physically weak. 3. Emotionally weak. 4. Unwilling to take responsibility for their own weakness. (Because being weak in itself isn't a negative; *staying* weak and blaming others for your failures *is.*)
That's a Progressive "man." A "man" so weak, he'd rather let a woman do all his heavy lifting for him, and hide behind the excuse of "toxic masculinity ruining society." I'm surprised Progressive Men are even "Still-Alive" in today's day and age.
I would define a progressive man as a man follows ideals and morals that society sees as a progressive. Because many voices in modern society dream of an egalitarian society that allows no difference in terms of roles people argue that a progressive man has to able to risk his career to support his wife since the other way round is the rather normal state. A progressive man is said to a man that is actively supporting equality in a way that society becomes more and more egalitarian.
Because successful women usually don't respect their man if he's not at their level socioeconomically speaking.. so the type of man it would require to accept that kind of behavior is.. well.. Progressive lol
a man who would share the responsibilities of taking care of children and house chores. Someone who isn't for banning abortion or restricting the rights of women.
When I talk about humiliation, talk about being dependent on a man who may be unfaithful and abusive in the future and abusive in the future. It must be humiliating to have stopped studying and raising your own money to be a housewife and to end up having to settle for an unfaithful and abusive man for not fitting into the job market anymore. It must be humiliating to have to make do with an unfaithful husband for not being able to make his own money, right? Or maybe it's fun for the people you know? In fact, I already have men making fun of housewives. It's usually men who call them inferior who are only good for sex, housework and baby-bearing.
I have no problem with these women's choices, they could explode in hell. I don't care about them. The only time I attack them is when they try to intrude on my life.

Im proud my girlfriend is above and beyond qualified for those activities more than most women and she's not really good at much else. Not embarrassing at all. Super proud of her.
Like I said, I don't care about other women's choices. That's the good thing about living in a country where I don't have to lower myself to being a housewife. I have superior talents, I'm not idiots to waste my talents being a housewife.

What is the problem? I really respect other women's choices, I just think it's stupid to waste MY talents being a housewife. I am smarter than many men, not smarter than all men, but smarter than many. I am able to have my own business and my own money. Why the hell would I subject myself to being dependent on a man for food and a home? I would have been pretty stupid to submit to a situation like that.

Many women accept this, their problem. Many women accept to cook and clean in exchange for a plate of food and a house, I do not accept, I prefer to earn my own money.

Instead of acknowledging them, working on them, you publicly shout it from the rooftop how you're broken and plan to stay that way. You created a scarecrow, I'm not the woman you're imagining. I'm not competing with men, much less I want to prove something. My dog's goal is to have my own money and business. The world is big and there is room for everyone who is able. I don't need to show that I'm capable or rather, I need to earn my own money.

@Kumarima yeah thats a lot of time and effort. My friend is a high level dancer and horseback barrel racer at rodeos. She also is basically a professional level chef and exercises probably like 4 or 5 days a week. She also volunteers at church and attends bible study. Who works and has time to have a life so full like that? But she doesn't earn any money, never earned any money, never intends to earn any money. she's super freaking impressive though. I don't know why someone who could live like that would instead choose to earn their own money instead. Working sucks. If i didn't have to i certainly wouldn't. So i just sincerely doubt someone is sane if they would choose to work instead of do something more fullfilling.
That friend of yours totally depends on money just boyfriend? It's her life, I have nothing to do with it. It is irrational for me to be financially dependent on someone.

Those are the kind i choose to know, date, associate with because they are amazing examples of femininity and being a woman. Where most people make fun of career women because they are just bad knock offs of men basically. They can't do woman things as good as a woman and can't do men things as good as a man. So they are more a sad side show act or oddity than an example of excellence. Yes some women have to work due to necessity and thats sad. I have pity for them. But whats the driven womans excuse for ruining her life because she is incapable of trusting a man? I don't know it makes no sense. I dont particularly care what any woman does however there are so many career women who go around putting down homemakers and feminine women, clearly many have a stick up their ass. When my girlfriend became a homemaker i told her to prepare for this and damn nothing could. She came home crying from a womans event, so many women told her its abuse to have a man pay the bills. Her mom, everyone said she's wrong and its bad and neighbors even just butt into her own business and tell her she's just asking to be abused. If most men are abusers why even date? It makes no sense. But they act like the world is going to end since she doesn't have a job. So yeah i do care about why so many old salty career women have to prey on women who decide to be homemakers. A few of which tried to date me and i said no, precisely because i dont like or need a career woman. Thats quite suspect that they must be terrible people since they wanted me and yet claim id abuse her. Smh. wouldn't they not want to date me if i was a likely abuser? Or they are just sick in the head and want an abuser.
As I said before; Her choice, her problem. I don't mind. I'm happy in my relationship and that's what matters to me. As for women, they wanted to date you... I don't know or care. I mean... should I care?
