a guy in my class and i have been texting for about 2 months and we recently told each other that we like each other. the only problem is that he doesn’t engage in long conversations with me. i try my best to bring up something new to talk about but he never responds with anything more than “yeah”, “okay”, “haha”. but he’s still flirty at times. is he just toying with me or am i just overthinking? (we haven’t spoken much irl yet)

so he has his time schedule out when exactly he’d reply back to my texts, early in the morning when he wakes up, in the afternoon for an hour and before he goes to bed. so i knew he was available to talk during those times
