What everyone here says does not fit me, and I am 16.


In my mind I think of a girl I like endlessly, it’s uncontrollable. The girl I think of is one I talk to and get along with well.


I have thoughts to start something but I don’t know how, plus the ones I think of and like live out of state.


I also worry endlessly about a girl I like in the way of I really don’t know if she likes me or not, and like one of them that I started messaging with in the last few days, I have a fear that she doesn’t like it when I message her.

Well that's interesting, even though you're a 16 year old we can't generalize all 16 year old boys now can we. But it is a hit or miss and I'm sure we hit more than we missed in here, being that many of us will probably 16 once but we also understand this is a different time and generation.

One thing I can tell you young man that's fragility and thinking in a sense of worry or creating a level of cynicism that prevents you and downs your confidence. Perhaps you should stop messaging her and see her directly and find the same way or a conversation of sorts to actually get a point across to where you may actually understand does she feel the same way for you as you feel for her or somewhere remotely close. Stop messaging her and perhaps go see her and whatever circles that you may travel or environments or actually call her instead of messaging, if that is applicable. One of the biggest worries that anybody has had that has been a young teenage boy is the worry of rejection or looking foolish or being embarrassed, I'm here to let you know it happens in adulthood. You have to develop thick skin and embrace it and mentally prepare yourself for it. Cuz there are going to be quite a few of those times and some more pivotal in effect than others.

So basically someone you will like any other 16-year-old boy, you think of girls your breakdown and dissecting of them might be different from others but apparently you actually looking for a good one for you. I'll tell you try to meet those in your area first before you go venturing all over the internet. Internet chatting and hooking up or not even so much that but dating can be great but I can also resolved in a lot of strained and miscommunicated feelings, so be very careful.

Well the girl I mentioned there that I message is one I met on a family trip and is a family friend’s daughter, we got along well and she asked for my phone number. I wish I could see her but she’s out of state

Video games. The hot chick at school. Sports. The Bros. Being cool. Having the best clothes or car. Getting a job and making money to have things of their own. I believe that about sums up a majority. Oh yeah and the hot teacher. And getting out of school or passing this test that's coming up.
