Been seeing this guy for a 9 months and barely had any issues until two months ago. I really thought we were something more like dating. He was consistent with me everyday but it all of a sudden stopped. This is the the third time this year. He's constantly busy and doesn't have time to see or talk to me. When I confront him about the issue he tells me he's so busy. Then he makes time for me and corrects everything but then goes right back to being distant. He won't be active on social media either so its hard to tell what he's doing. Last month he did this same exact thing. So I ghosted and blocked him which caused a big reaction from him when I unblocked him. I didn't understand it, we weren't talking much so i didn't see how it bothered him. He called me and I answered with "who is this" which caused him to get really mad at me. At that point I learned that he had gone through a rough patch. We got into an argument and he mentioned he was done with the relationship a long time ago but says he said it out of anger.
He was in a better position the last time we talked but went distant again. i sent him a text that we should just breakup. It even took him a while to reply to that. He agreed but a few days later calls me. This was on my birthday but (it wasn't to tell me happy birthday). The next few days after my birthday he wanted to have sex. On the phone he brought up how he didn't talk to me for a whole week (so he was aware). He wanted to see me on my birthday but I denied cause I was tired. So the next few days after i gotten sick and he wanted to see me but i also declined that. I explained to him that he wasn't putting in much effort and wasn't doing anything to make me want to have sex with him anyway. He improved for a minute but then gotten distant. So i did another break up this morning and he finally texts me back. No matter what he does, being distant or ignoring me, he doesn't want to break up. I don't get it and don't know what to do at this point.
