So, i have this crush in a grade above me. I've never talked to him since almost a year back. But i haven't approached him or anything because i dont know him and i dont have the courage to do it. But should I like give him a smile or something next time he walks by? Im afriad that he will just look weirded out or think that im a stalker. What should I do?

Is the only time you see him in school hallways?
Smiling will never ever hurt, I promise that.
You can even say hi.
If you do and nothing happens... you can stroke his arm gently as you walk by. Since you have no time to stop to talk, this may work as an ice breaker.
Then next time try smiling at him again, see how big of a smile he has now.
If he hasn't told you he's taken by now, but hasn't made a move on you either, he probably needs it to be easier for him. Try doing a high five with him. If he doesn't do a high five, he still maybe has self esteem issues but secretly wants you.

He even may look weirded out but still like you.

He may start liking you just because you showed interest.

In any case don't do what some other girls do, which is hanging out with other guys in front of him trying to get his attention.
