"Male Flight" syndrome: thoughts?

Men and women have different needs, different learning styles, different socialization, etc. But when women get involved in something that was traditionally male, they immediately insist that it be changed for women.

Today, schools at all levels are built for women, and men are not treated like men with different needs than women, they're treated like defective women, and are forced to adopt twisted, feminized ideals of behavior and learning styles. Tons of men have rejected this, to the point that they'd rather just not go to college at all, rather than go to a college that is set up for women and makes them seem inferior.

It used to be that men and women had separate schools, because it was recognized that men and women do things differently and have different needs - but activist women decided that this was sexist, and women demanded access to men's schools. Now, there are no men's schools - even if someone tries to start one, they get sued and are forced to be co-ed. Yet, women can have women-only schools - or could, until Trans activists sued to allow men into those schools and other female-only spaces, and how well is THAT going?

Men want to be able to be men, and when we can't, we'd rather walk away than be feminized. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Young men today know they aren't getting what they need, or in the way they need it, but they know the system is stacked against them, and there's nothing they can do about it, so they're simply walking away from those systems altogether.

The same with occupations. When a woman can ruin a man's career with an accusation (whether it's true or not), why would men want to be in a woman-dominated career? He can instead chose a career that women don't choose, and be in an environment that is set up for men, even if it's harder or even if his earnings potential is lower. Guys would rather be crab fishermen or oil-field workers than to deal with female-centric office politics.

Social programming is my thoughts, for guys its valued to be strong and masculine, so the moment something changes in society like job position is no longer masculine enough, you will not see guy doing that job. Call it however you want. It is a thing and will be a thing for years to come.

We're seeing it now in the funeral home/death care industry. Prior to the Civil War death care was considered "woman's work" in the United States, but the shift toward it becoming a male dominated task was pretty rapid afterwards (whether the increased use of embalming had anything to do with it or not is debatable). In the past 15 years or so, we've seen a distinct shift towards more women than men in the industry. Nobody really knows why this is, as there are no glass ceilings to break through, and no aggressive recruitment efforts to bring women in. We're just seeing more women than men taking the necessary schooling and training, and seeking the jobs.

I’m aware of the concept, not of the name. One of the biggest examples of this recently are colleges. There is already a widening discrepancy, but it’s not going to be very long until the overwhelming majority of college graduates are female. Since women typically date up, this creates a massive reduced dating pool for women. It will be interesting to see what happens since women and men seem to be changes places everywhere.
