Do guys realize we see you actually did read our texts?

Read receipts are automatic pretty much on Facebook messenger. when I'm texting my crush. so I see when he reads it and left me on read. over and over. do guys KNOW we saw that you did look at our text but just ignore it? making it worse?

If he keeps leaving you on read, then I think it’s a sign he isn’t interested, but since you are, you keep pursuing. You may not agree, especially if he responds to what you say sometimes or even initiates conversation here and there. But if it’s majorly you trying to engage him, then it’s probably a good point to read the room and take a step back from your attempts at conversation. I’m sorry to say all this, especially if you aren’t feeling that great about it. But all you can control is what you do going forward, and I think the next (and best) move should be not making another one at all.

Yes but many guys aren´t instantly responding because they like to take time thinking about a good response or they are just bad texters in general.
I think the biggest issue though is that many guys don´t prioritize texting in a way that they feel like they nee d to answer a text instantly but rather wait until they have the time.
Because sometimes it´s not the right moment where you can answer a text so they wait until they can.
That can take sometimes to be fair.

Do you realize that we don't have the time to instantly reply at all times? Quickly reading a message is a lot faster than writing one. I've even left my own family on read for a couple of days before, it's not a big deal. Unless it's something unbelievably important, there's no reason to get worked up about it.

Just because I read a text and don’t respond right away, doesn’t mean I’m purposely ignoring. Sometimes I’m high and think a response and don’t type it, sometimes I am busy and see it isn’t an immediately important thing, sometimes I’m thinking of something to say or waiting on some thing to happen or arrive or something. There’s so many reasons why I would read something and not respond on the dot
