Because guys don't value texting like girls do. If your interactions in person are great then what's the problem?

Because texting is an awful way to communicate with people, and most men would rather talk in person than worry about the miscommunications that happen so often over text.

It is a means of conveying ideas and information.
Guys don't tend to spend a lot of time playing around with it.
