Can guys tell if you're thinking about them or still like them even if you haven't talked to them for a long time?

so obviously a guy would be able to tell if a girl likes them if she's very obvious about it - quick replies, frequent texting, constant initiation, touching, flirting etc - even then though, guys often don't notice until you directly tell them.

but what if a girl doesn't talk to the guy she likes? for example, whenever I like a guy & I can tell he doesn't like me back, I never talk to them. For example with the guy I currently like & was casually seeing, he hasn't talked to me in 2 months, & I also haven't talked to him all this time. He knows I like him, but I was wandering, would he still know that I like him? is there like an automatic vibe that guys feel if a girl likes them & when a girl gets over them? would he know I've still been thinking about him? is it possible that he thinks I've forgotten about him too? or will he only know based on how I talk to him/reply the next time we talk?

Probably he has no clue and might even have forgotten about you liking him. In 2 months he is surely into some stuff, talked with people, hanged out, might even have dated someone. The fact you think about him doesn't make him think about you, especially if he doesn't like you back. He had the option, when he got to know you like him, to interact more with you, and yet he didn't. So he is not going to care if you still like him or not, I would bet he isn't even wondering...
But, actually, it's better: if he sees that you're independent and moved on from him, you'll look more attractive as a result. If you show you're still thirsting over this unrequited love, you'll lose value to his eyes because it makes you granted and out of self-worth (if you have self-worth you don't put more fantasies and effort in someone who doesn't fuel you back with something concrete). Also, it shows that you're still fantasizing about him alone without his "participation", so it's like you created your vision and expectations all in your head. When I find out guys do this to me while I didn't give any input from my side, I feel very uncomfortable because I have suddenly the load of the responsibility to have to dismout their fantasies and make them feel bad. It's unpleasant.
I think you should show him your feelings only if he actually initiates anything by himself with a clear interest behind... You have done your step already, now it's his turn, but he didn't do anything (I don't think he is so shy he wouldn't reach out if he isn't sure about your feelings, he would anyway, if he wanted), so the thing is over unless he randomly decides to pick you back and see if you're still potentially into him. Sooome guys accept insistent women who aren't reciprocated but it's usually guys who are easy to appeal with anything and who would accept situations that are generally convenient, lazily.
Keep your contact open, keep posting on Instagram, let him see what you do in the life without blocking his account, just minding your stuff.
