So I was asking him what he wanted for his birthday or that I wanted to plan something for him and that’s why I kept asking him. So he told me that I could either get him a gift, or send him cash since he didn’t know when we would see each other. But then at the end of that he said I didn’t have to get him anything and that me alone is enough 🥰🥰🥰 that made me so happy to read definitely made my day! What do you guys think about what he said?

He might like you but whether he loves you or not cannot be said by this one instance but his sentence itself is a positive sign, indication.

Fair point. I do still feel like he has feelings still, we dated at one point briefly almost 2 years ago, but we’ve been back talking to each other. What he said isn’t something you say to anyone.

That is absolutely adorable! I can recall a similar conversation I once had with a girlfriend who insisted that she found out what I wanted for Christmas. Like your boyfriend, I was hesitant to admit my top choice for the day, but when she kept asking me to tell her, I said, 'Are you sure you want to know?' Oh no we met online at first but I’ve been knowing him for 2 years almost and we’ve met up on plenty of occasions. He’s my ex but we’ve been back talking to each other.
