He acts like he likes me and stares at me but does he really?

So I’ve had a crush on this one guy in my class since nov. he knows I like him and his friends tease me about it and push him towards me. But I will constantly catch him staring at me or going near me when I’m talking to other guys and watching for my response to his actions. We had a graduation party and our families were at the same table, and his mom and my mom became friends and traded numbers. He never went to the table when I was there, and I didn’t go when he was there.
But he kept looking at me whenever I turned around. When I stared dancing with my mom, he dragged his to the dance floor. And when we did a conga line I was 2 people behind him and he looked back at me constantly. At. the end of the party as everyone was leaving, everyone was also hugging goodbye.
HE LOOKED AT ME AND HUGGED EVERY OTHER GIRL EXCEPT 4 ME😩😭😵‍💫. I hugged his mom goodbye when he was looking and she said she was going to text mine. School ended and I may see him again in high school, but I want to know if he likes/d me. I hope my mom and his mom set up times for them to see each other so I can see him. And I want to know how to get a relationship started if possible.

Oh lol, sweety, the boy is smitten!! Lmao!! That's adorable lol! I have a hard time talking to people I like and when I have a strong emotional attachment to someone, or someone makes me feel strong emotions, I avoid them, sort of, in order to not feel so strongly, but I DESPERATELY want them to see me. I want them to know that I feel so strongly, but I'm terrified. Utterly terrified.

How would you rangle in such a boy/man? It's easy, but also hard, because you need to make sure you don't terrify him lol. When it happens to me I wish for them to come up to me and tell me that they like me so I don't feel the emotional crush of rejection. Rejection can be so strong these days that sometimes it's just not worth even saying anything.

So approach him, but not aggressively, and say something like, "That party was really fun. You looked cute in the conga line and on the dance floor. Maybe we can go dancing some time? Would you like that?" If he then says something like, "Y-yeah, sure." or "I-I'm not really good at dancing." That's because we always deflect lol. Just say, "Well we don't have to go dancing. Maybe a movie or mini golf would be fun. I want to hang out with you and get to know you." Make it apparent that it's not the activity you want to do, but getting to know him is what you want to do. That will make him feel comfortable, or wanted, and then once you have the date set up, tell him how you feel, and hopefully something magical will happen.

The truly shy and timid boys feel emotions intensely and talking to people doesn't come naturally to us, so having a person come up and show that they want us makes things easier.

At your age, it sounds like he’s got lots of girlfriends. I never was a hugger. I asked out once 15 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ Good times for you. Focus on studies or something else, off media, and see if he looks or asksfor you 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Sometimes, we avoid people we like to avoid coming across as too interested or because we're embarrassed. A lot of people think they shouldn't come across too interested, especially younger people, but it prevents you from getting things you want. If you talk to him and he seems uninterested in the conversation and barely keeps it going, he probably doesn't like you. If he acts nervous or avoids talking to you, try approaching him. He could be shy. You could invite him to do something alone or in a group, but if he says no, he's probably not interested. Asking him would be scary, but if you put yourself out there and ask directly or approach him directly, you should feel proud. It's a scary thing, but it's how relationships get started. Someone has to take a risk.
