Women what is your honest opinion of a man who is attractive to you but seems too nervous to initiate?

Will you give him signs you are welcoming this? Does the very fact that he is too nervous to do anything turn you off? Or is it circumstantial?

I understand it’s nerve wracking but I also have hard time asking out people I like. Personally if I like said person back I will try to lead them initiating. Eg: teasing, talking about inside jokes, hugging, try to imply that I want hangout with them 1:1 etc.

I emotionally can’t take the the full lead anymore. Between my last boyfriend and the last couple guys I talked to, me taking the lead ended with me being highly interested and them losing interest/them having low interest to start. I don’t do well with uneven interest balances.

(But that is just my experience. More power to those can ask someone out handle it better than me)

Agreed. Women don't have to ask guys out. But they do have to do a good job in making there interest clear. The last woman that showed me interest made the mistake of showing another guy equal interest. She brought a guy with her to a party I was at and pursued me all party with him attached to her hip. I knew she wanted me to make an effort towards her. But with him there, like I was supposed to compete for her. Her gamble failed. She lost me and eventually him. You don't play with other people's feelings.

I really liked a guy and he was quite shy. I made it super super obvious I liked him and basically set up situations for him where he could ask for my number/ask me on a date. However, as time has gone on I’ve remained having to be the one to initiate everything and it’s not a great feeling. Just feels like he’s not interested.

I think it would depend on the woman, if the woman is willing to initiate things then she might make the first move.

Other women may just give signs, welcoming signs.

My college was like this and I miss it.

I can think of 10 girls who initiated in some way. One practically smacked me in the head with it.

Of course we were outnumbered almost 3 to 1 at about 72% girls. So that helped.
