Boyfriend has money, work, family problems as well as spiritual struggles. He was very emotional and poured out everything to me and was crying in my arms. He got a bit funny after.
So, I told him I believed in him, was here for him and that I knew he could beat this.
He said thank you for everything.
After that, he had bit of a crisis for a few days and was distant but available. Then today he is back a bit to normal and says to me I'm the best [thing] in his life.
I'm a distrustful and suspicious woman but I gracefully accepted the compliment. We chatted a bit more and said goodbye.
So should I relax and be trusting or is this just a line he's feeding me?

Sounds like a nice turn out to your last question. Quitting always comes up. Being dumped by a quitter sucks but at least they left before anymore investment and dependence was involved. So women like you who are supportive, understanding, enduring, forgiving are just too dam hard to find. So how could he not be sincere? And just say thank you, don't say he is full of BS. Because you also know you did a good job and you deserve some appreciation. So accept it.
Now if I can just find a rock like that I would be showering her with appreciation too.
It's just when someone says they need space because of work and family issues everyone is always like he's a dog and a cheater dump him. I just didn't want to believe him so I wouldn't get played but he's proven he does have all these issues and is doing the things he says he is busy with. If we work out, it's a relationship a lot of people would have a reason to be jealous of and so I just am feeling a bit too good to be true. Always looking for the rat.
O M G you are one of the rarest people on the planet. Here is why I say that "If we work out" you said WE and not IT. When I hear people say "It didn't work out" I know exactly why they failed. They did not take responsibility. This mysterious IT was responsible. Listen carefully for that mental tell tell. I tell you any two people can make a perfect couple if they both realize it is up to them to make the team work.
That is just not so attractive. I mean a man crying like it mostly unattractive to woman. Anyways, I think he is a sensitive type of person, kind and sweet also.

Yes it is fine to cry. Even men are also humans but that type of crying should only be once in a while like an exception. If a man cries often in that manner, is emotional and sentimental like a woman then eventually the woman tends to lose respect for that man (In the long run).
Hence a man must be more tough and less soft.
This is true for women in general. However, if you find a man crying in your arms are incredibly attractive then you are an exception. Good to know you are a bit different from other women in this aspect.
This only happened one other time. He doesn't walk around sobbing and he was just shedding tears. Also, I am not in North America. Here men are not viewed as weak for crying and can be very open emotionally. Yes, he is that sensitive type. I need that.

sometimes there is good people out there, but many bad things have happened to them... and that can get in the way
me for example, with all the struggles, challenges and difficulties I had during my childhood and early teens, I could have turned out a very very bad dangerous person but... I didn't turn out like that
I think he's genuine. The thing most women don't understand about men's lives is that we are dealing with conflict and drama constantly, just like everyone else. But when a woman can come into our lives and not add to the drama, but also make us feel cared for, that woman will easily be the thing in his life hands down.
Thanks, yes he is dealing with some high drama at the moment. I'm all about positivity and he brings freshness into my life. I've had to face a lot of my own BS dealing with him to so even if we go our separate ways I've grown since knowing him.
Seems to me like until you get your trust issues out of the way whatever he says will be taken with a grain of salt he's going to go through some issues and he's going to want to probably be distant as either not hurt you or to get a better River of the situation that has transpired somehow somewhere you got to respect that. And being distrustful or taking his words lightly isn't the root to it
