Guy's Behavior

Does he like me or is he just a good guy? Am I delusional?

We have been in the same class for about 8 months and we recently went on a field trip out of State for school. The first day was mostly just driving and sleeping (i slept half the 14hour trip) but whenever we got off the bus he was always near me and talking with me. But nothing weird, he was just always near me. And when we got to the hotel we went to the pool with the rest of the group and he took a group photo of me him and two other people. I asked him to send the photo to a mutual friend and she could send it to me, but he said it'd just be easier to send it directly to me so i gave him my number. Through the next two days he was just always near me and even when i left the group he would sorta follow, but maybe he was just making sure i was ok. At one point someone else on the trip asked if we were dating, we both responded no.

He didn't take many pictures throughout the trip either, unless it was of performances (we went to Nashville) or if it was me and him. He also posted me on his Instagram, but he didn't ask (i was fine with it tho). The last day of the trip comes and i sit next to him, but since we had to wake up early and i was honestly bored, i was trying to fall asleep half the trip. When I wasn't sleeping he was trying to make conversation or show me things on his computer/phone. And when I would sleep and I suddenly awoke he would check in on me. I also noticed he was very still and tried not to talk as much to the people around us when I had my eyes closed. Near the end of the trip he offered for me to lay on his shoulder. So I did. Other people questioned if he really was ok with me laying there and he kept saying "I don't mind" or "Im comfortable". He even at one point rested his head on mine. Near the end of the trip my hips were hurting from the way I was resting on his shoulder and he said that I could sleep on his lap and followed it with " I don't mind". He kept talking to me so gently. I also saw him looking in my direction a lot.

He got hit on by this girl on the trip, but he didn't really seem fazed. I thought he didn't know she was hitting on him so I let him know privately. He didn't even really acknowledge what I said. I thought he didn't hear me so the next day I stated it again. He did hear me, he just didn't really care ig? But then later that day he messaged me saying that she's totally hitting on him. Does that change anything? This is why I'm confused
