Guys, What should I do?

I was seeing a guy for almost 2 months. He reached out to me and we started consistently hanging out. I spent the night multiple times and we also had sex. He even mentioned meeting his parents. Last week I started noticing his text were getting short and he seemed disinterested almost like he was being forced to talk to me. I asked him if he wanted to hang out a couple times and he never responded after telling me he would let me know. I finally asked him if something was wrong. He said he's been feeling weird and eventually opened up. He told me he was hanging with his ex last week that's why he's been busy and doesn't know how he feels, they are still good friends and she went to his sisters bridal shower. He said he wasn't ready for a relationship because he is still hurting and healing, that he really likes me so that why he stayed with it and never meant to hurt my heart and that his life is a mess. I ended the conversation with He should of said this in the beginning and I don't like when people beat around the bush and that I have no ill feelings for him but that this needed to end here. He agreed and apologized again saying he never meant to beat around the bush and that he hopes I find what I'm looking for. I noticed he didn't block me on anything and unadded him on snap. I got attached and feel like I got used. I really want to reach out but I want to be disappointed again.
