So here’s what happened. There was this guy who I kind of liked, but not really. I asked my friend if he was dating anyone and she told me he was gay. I didn’t believe it, so I asked another friend. However, one of his close friends was sitting in front of me and after some talk she tells us he’s bi but hasn’t come out yet.
My friend told me afterward to be careful of who I talk with and told me that the girl in front of us probably told him what I asked. He’s been acting a bit weird around me ever since, so I think she did. I did, however, mention that I was just asking but you know girls.

if this happened to you, would you be offended? Because I’m actually bi as well, but I don’t think he knows that.

His sexual orientation is not your business. And you did the typical female thing. Rather than being straight forward and asking him directly, you went around behind his back like some gossip girl and likely pissed him off. Smh

I actually didn’t ask because of that, I asked because I wanted to know if he was single. So it wouldn’t piss you off if someone you barely knew asked you if you were gay?

If they were direct about it, no. If they didn't have the courage to ask me directly most definitely yes it would piss me off.

Would it work if I said, “hey, I heard someone say you were gay, jus thought you should know. And anyways I’m bi so make what you want of that.” ?
