Would you be offended?

Would you be offended if a girl you were with for over 3 years started accusing you of stealing from her. I went to visit my ex and before I left she insisted that she look through my backpack to make sure I didn’t steal from her. Mind you, I am not a theft and have never stole from anyone. This occurred right after she admitted that she was talking to her ex. The one before me. The one she says gave her ptsd from their abuse. Like wtf? Makes me wonder if she honestly thinks I would steal from her, was her ex ever even abusive. Or is she delusional from abuse. What the duck is going on here?

I honestly do care. We were friend prior to dating and we have history. I genuinely care about her. I am more upset by the fact that she thinks of me this way when she should know better. To be called a thief by a stranger is upsetting but to be called a thief by someone you are close to is extremely hurtful. Do you agree?
