Why would a guy tell you he likes you but ignores you?

I’ve been seeing a guy since the end of last year. He tells me he likes me very much but lately he’s been ignoring me and leaving me on read. I’ve asked him what’s wrong and if he doesn’t like me anymore it’s okay just let me know be open and honest. He says he does but then ignores me? I don’t get it?

Good chance he's playing the field or he's just really scared of commitment. In a situation like this, you gotta find out fairly quickly so you're not wasting your time.
