Today my friend’s 22 years old guy friend and his 19 years old girlfriend visited us and we had some fun, a few drinks and they enjoyed being with us a lot. (In my country you can drink after 18)

I mostly talked with that 19 years old girl and didn’t pay too much attention to that guy. It was the first time I met them.

Before they left everyone hugged me and said goodbye, I was wearing a crop top, this guy came to me, pulled me close, hugged me really tight, kissed my cheek while and grabbed my waist while saying how happy he was to meet us. I was unsure if he did it instinctively or on purpose.

He was not creepy, and I know guys have a soft spot for waists, I was just a bit surprised cause I felt like that touch showed an obvious sign of attraction and I was really surprised why would a guy with his girlfriend in the same room touch another girl that way?

I felt a bit awkward and guilty around that girl.

We have a genetic coding for waists! Long before we have seen the color of your eyes or even the size of your breasts we have marked you on your waist. From a distance we see you in plan view and it is the 2D view that is primary. Our genetic coding says a hip waist ratio of 0.6 to 0.65 is nubile and fertile and of course that engenders thoughts...

A girls waist is an inverse curve and we love curves. More importantly, as I like to say, if a girl has a sharp waist then everything else takes care of itself. Good waist = great hips and great breasts.

It is incredibly sexy how our hand fits right in there and quite simply that will make me hard. The cross section of a girls ribcage is ovoid. I find that incredibly sexy too but it is not as visually apparent like the waist and hips.

So why did he do what he did? Well you said you were wearing a crop top so he could see how nice your waist is and conceive a desire to see how well his handed fitted in. In other words he was copping a feel.

And masking it as a friendly goodbye. I think it was more on purpose because guys are quite attuned to boundaries with physical contact with girls. You said it was a tight embrace so I would say he wanted to feel your beasts against his chest as much as possible too.

Doing this as a friendly gesture gives it plausible deniability. If his girlfriend gave him gip he could say it was just a friendly hug goodbye and you hugged her friend goodbye. so whats the big deal?

I don't think you should feel guilty at all for his action. 10 to 1 he does similar when he meets you next. Maybe avoid by launching into some activity or just shake hands :)

A nice waist to hip ratio is a sign of fertility and good genes in women. Ofc, most guys don't really know about that, they just unconsciously find a nice waist to hip ratio very attractive

Besides, when hugging a girl, grabbing her waist is a good way of controlling the distance during the hug. It also feels intimate for some people

1) He's telling you very clearly he finds you sexually attractive.
2) The reason you feel awkward and guilty is because of an assumption that society expects monogamy from you and them. As his girlfriend was present, I can only guess that she wouldn't be offended by this gesture, maybe because they have an open relationship and he has no reason not to let you know, and maybe because she agrees with him and finds you sexually attractive too?
