Why do guys suggest meeting on a particular day but then say nothing when that day arrives (do not confirm or reach out despite making plans)?

Maybe he wants you to reach out to confirm your interest in the date/plans?
It's happened many a time where I make plans with a girl and she either ghosts or cancels last minute when I'm confirming/reaching out for the date.

crappy thing to do but expected you to drop it OR expected you to do all the work.
don't make plans with him again - unless you want the same thing to happen again.

If they don't follow through with plans the don't give them a second chance to mess up.
