I honestly don't understand?

So I finally texted the guy I like without having an awkward convo. I was a bit anxious so he asked if telling me about his day would cheer me up.

So I said sure. However afterwards he said nothing for days. I just don't understand.
So can someone help me out.

If you have not asked him out I would say now is your chance. I can't read his mind, he may have just been busy. You could ask him why he did not respond to you. Unless you texted at a bad time... That could be a problem but not saying that you did either.

But I think if you don't make a move. If he happened to be interested what if tomorrow he looses interest? What if he asks someone else out tomorrow? What if someone asks him out?

That is how people miss their opportunity. Think of it you have a chance of being rejected. At least then you will know to stop pursuing it. Or... He may say yes.

Any other answer besides a direct yes or no then you done your part the ball is in his court. Don't push it could be a kind rejection not wanting to hurt your feelings or he legitimately might need time to think about it. If he likes you he will come around or you will find another person
