He thinks you are an ass probably. You don't tell someone their crush is ugly. You just seem like a vindictive and venomous person willing to put others down solely to get ahead, especially when you know the person you put down is special to him.
He doesn't have the same views as you on her looks, why would he listen to what you think? it doesn't make any sense.
Also when a guy likes someone, their looks are automatically boosted by like at least 2 or 3 tiers in their eyes.
