We stopped talking on 2021 covid times and now he is online again. He said he had a girlfriend and now he seems interested in me again. We have been friends for 5 years now

Most likely he’s on the rebound. A huge red flag is when a guy takes no time to heal after a breakup and hops back online. I wouldn’t give him the time of day, because you should’ve been his first choice if he were serious.
