Guy I knew told my friend to tell me hello. Thought he didn’t care about me?

I was friends with this dude but we had to part ways over a misunderstanding between us. I broke it off cause he didn’t have any interest whenever I wanted to talk to him.

We haven’t seen or spoken to each other in a month, and recently one of my friends said he wanted to say hi to me. And I thought it was really weird.

He’s quite a nonchalant person so it really caught me off guard. Could he had been thinking about me and that’s why he told my friend to tell me he said hi? Or is it something else? I don’t wanna reach out to him though.

Yeah, he could just want to talk to you. Though there's a binch of reasons why he could have done that.
