Did he really call "accidentally"?

So 2 weeks ago I met a guy at my job (I work front desk at a hotel and he was staying there) and we starting talking over snapchat. One day he called me on snapchat and said it was by accident but still messeged me. Then he wanted to start talking to me on Facebook messenger. Today he called me on Facebook so I called him back and he said he called by accident but we still talked for a short minute but I had to get back to work so he let me go but still messaged me even after. He has told me he likes me and feels very comfortable around me. So is there any meaning behind this or was it really by accident?
