Some people never outgrow the childish sense of self importance. Mental illness notwithstanding, that’s generally the result of poor parenting or none at all. Similarly, the sensitivity to such things is likely caused by the same. The explosion of entitlement is a bane on society. We are not owed anything from anyone until and unless they agree to it.
