Why do guys send silly face snaps? to someone they have interest in?

Hi, I know I’m overthinking a bit but I have a huge crush on this boy so I can’t help myself!

I was wondering, guys, personally what would be the reasons you send a reasonably silly face selfie on snap to a girl you find pretty and have at least some interest in? or why do you think this boy is doing this?

(and here’s some background info) I hit him up first, he asked me for my snapchat and showed huge interest that I hit him up (I think he doesn’t get much female attention) and we were talking quite a bit at the start! Not really now and we just send faces on snapchat.

I know he at least sees me as an (physically) attractive female, he called me very pretty and I can sense it, it’s quite obvious.

He often sends silly face snaps to me i. e. blowing his cheeks up and I’m wondering why guys do that (I realised he does this a lot during the day or when he doesn’t have LED lights on lol, not always though)! Is it because he doesn’t care about me and what I think?

Is it because he doesn’t see me as someone he wants to amuse and has no interest? Is it because he’s comfortable, or he wants me to do it back, or he’s insecure of his face? or is he group snapping me, or does he even have a reason at all?

What would your personal reasons be for this and why do you think he’s doing this? I think some boy perspective would be so helpful, please help an overthinking girl out!! I don’t mind the ladies replying too for a 3rd person perspective but I realised a lot of the girls including me sees this as a sign of no interest :\
