Why do guys randomly send you a picture then get dry and end the conversation?

I've had two guys do something like this. Basically, they don't talk to me for a few days, then randomly send me a picture of a beautiful sky or something like that and when you try to talk to them they get dry and the conversation ends somehow. Why do they even send me that picture in the first place?

Who knows what goes in their weird heads? Maybe they expected you send them a gigabyte big catalogue of nudes after they exchanges two sentences with you? Maybe this picture of nature should manifest their disappointment about lack of your actions?

What is this "get dry" thing all of a sudden? Is this some Gen Alpha thing because people my age don't say it, and I'm under 20. Or is it just one person on here who keeps saying it over and over?

I don't send pics to keep convos going. There are some things that I see and think "hmm this person would like it". And then send it over, without the intent of talking more.

Why does a lengthy text conversation have to follow a picture being sent? Maybe stop using text to communicate and these problems will go away...

They just chat u to spend their boring time. So when their girlfriend or something like that come/chat them, they think you are not important to spend time with anymore…
