He stops texting halfway?

So I've been chatting with this guy, and for some reason he keeps leaving me hanging. I thought he wasn't interested the first couple of times, and I didn't want to be some burden to him, but that's not it either. I give him space and it's he who tries getting me hooked to a conversation, and then as soon as I'm interested in the convo, he abruptly leaves in the middle- no explanation, no g2g text, nothing, he just leaves the convo despite still being online. This happens multiple times in almost every conversation.

He's probably doing this with multiple girls and not just you. He wants to keep you interested in him so he checks in with you off and on just to make sure you are still there to entertain him when he needs it. But since he's texting multiple people at a time, he may ghost you or leave you hanging because he will have many messages to read and go through. And he will pick the conversations that he's most interested in to reply to.

If you are daring enough, try to confront him regarding this issue. If you are not, try not to entertain him too much. Just know that he's not worth your time and effort if he's not willing to do the same for you.
