Why do some guys change their behavior towards a girl if she friend zones them?

Because their initial behavior was them trying to get into a relationship or at least in the bedroom with her, and after they are deemed to be just friends their behavior changes because the goal has changed.

You treat people differently if you're trying to be in a relationship with them then you do if you're just trying to be friends with them, and some guys take it to a weird place.

Some guys will say that a girl was flirting with them because she was being friendly, when she never had any intention to be in a relationship with him, and they will believe that they were being led on or strung along.

That's usually not true, sometimes it is but usually it's just someone putting more thought into what they believe the other person believed or is doing then is really going on.
