Why do women suck at driving?

y'all claim we do yet I've encountered more men on the road who nearly hit me ( one actually did ) and can't drive their big cars for shit. Had one nearly give me a heart attack speeding up behind me trying to hit me.

Because there are worse things, for traffic flow, then being in an accident, and one of them is CAUSING an accident. Women tend to drive more defensively, but also more slowly, and with less situational awareness. They also tend to (in no small part thanks to social attitudes about conformity) be more reluctant to break the rules of the road, even if doing so is what's necessary to PREVENT an accident.

I learned on a standard (manual) and I still drive a standard to this day and I think I'm a great driver. If you drive a stick the vechicle itself demands that you pay attention to everything that you're doing at all times (except on the highway obv). Automatics make it too easy to get distracted because all you really have to do is take you foot on and off the pedal and steer. I don't know if that stereotype is correct anymore to be honest with you but I will say that if more women learned on stick shifts they would defineitly be better drivers but thats just my opinion.

Both men and women suck at driving but in different ways. Men, especially younger ones, have good driving skills but tend to use poor judgment and take greater risks.

Women of all ages have poor driving skills but use better judgment in that they drive more cautiously and take fewer risks.

At the end of the day, women cause more accidents (a statistical fact) but men cause more serious accidents.

I should qualify my last statement. Per hour driven, women cause more accidents than men. There are more accidents caused by men because men drive significantly more than women. If you take the total number of accidents each year, by sex, and divide it by the total number of hours driven, by sex, women cause more accidents relative to how many hours they drive.
