We were in very toxic friendship and we had a fight, we used to fight everyweek so now he blocked me

Maybe you’re not blocked but he deleted you as a friend on WhatsApp in the heat of the moment with all the fighting. I don’t think there’s a direct way to tell if you’re blocked vs just unfriended, but I think deleting you was what he did since he’s still messaging you on iMessage.
