Ok.. I'll tell you how I behave when first meeting a girl I like and why.

So, it all depends on the situation. If it's someplace where I would never see her again, I have to force myself to talk to her and get her number. This takes A LOT of confidence and is hard to do.

But if it's somewhere I will see her regularly, I will pretty much ignore her because I know I can take things slower. Then gradually over time I will try to get closer to her.

Why like that? Well, for one thing it's nerve racking for a guy to just start talking to a girl he really likes, and it gives time to build up courage.

Second, it gives me time to adjust to the situation and think about what to say and do. Let's say you are at school or work every day, just getting on with your stuff. Then suddenly one day a girl joins that you find really attractive. Now that takes a big shift in your attention, and you need time to adjust your thinking.

Third, it gives the opportunity for a more natural interaction that is less forced and awkward. So at first I will ignore the girl to avoid doing or saying something dumb to her or in front of her. Then gradually over time I will look for moments to naturally but purposefully get closer to her in some way, to be friendly and (hopefully) get her to like me.

The direct approach if I need to get her contact before she disappears. But the slow and smooth approach is preferable. So yeah, if I really like a girl I will most likely completely ignore her at first (lol), and that is why.

When guys like a girl, they will be super nice and talk a lot about their hobbies and life. But if they don’t like the girl, they will be closed off, not communicate with the girl about anything. Even a simple “how are you?” is too much for them that they’ll ghost.

It can't be explained. The out of this world experiance refers to inability to keep up with reality. For example the waitres of a burger joint drew a heart on my receit and I froze to respond. Knowing what to do and being able to do so are different matters.
