Guy's Behavior

I don't know if my guy friend likes me or not I don't understand what he wants?

I had this guy at my internship he was a mutual friend and i was his junior at the form we worked at, when i started my internship he was absolutely sweet and introduced me to everyone without it being his responsibility we became good friends and we had the same cabin where we'd sit. He initially talked about his ex and why they broke up. We would literally hang out all the time he would do things i asked him to do get me chocolate when he ate a peice of my chocolate. He was to sweet, he would pull my nose, grab my neck at times try to make me trip. He was single atm. I started liking him, he literally would also block me in the hallway a lot of times corner me and flirt, told me i smell nice. And suddenly he asked to shift to a different cabin, i got pissed and didn't meet him after and he'd come everyday to meet me and then call me at times to sit with him in the office, after a while he saw me writting alone on a paper that why do I over think so much from that day he stopped talking to me and started making his distance he'd talk so rudely to me, it'd hurt me so much i tried to talk things out but he wouldn't just be the same person again and left the office and months later we met through mutual friends, we all were hanging out and suddenly he was so warm he couldn't leave my side he kept on puting his arm towards me and asked me to put my feet on his legs to make me comfortable we again didn't meet and suddenly after months he called me to ask me to work with him i met him and declined later and he was absolutely rude again i tried to cut him off and suddenly i had to meet one of our mutual friend and he came with him to meet me after months he was leaving the country to study abroad he told me that I'd find a nice guy suddenly told me i am not like other girls and also that he once had made out with a girl like me he has my number saved in his phone as (myname cabin (as i mispronounced it once) and my size of my lingerie) i don't understand.

I don't know if i should ask him anything because he's leaving the country in a month, he told me he had a friends with benefits for a short span and all of our mutual friends tell me that i shouldn't date this guy even if it's the last guy

I just want to know why is he doing that are there any genuine feelings tbh
