This married guy has flirted with me for a few years. He’s also often asked if I had a boyfriend and kept making comments such as “I want you to settle down and have kids, I want you to be happy”. He has always made comments about my appearance and it’s obvious he at least finds me attractive. He’s always been somewhat jealous when I’ve interacted with another man in front of him. He always looks at me with this very intense expression and a lot of the time he is watching/staring at me. He is Italian, one time he said to his friend “she likes Italian men but I’m married” - which seems like he would want me for his partner if he was single.
I’ve been single up until 6 months ago. He absolutely despises my boyfriend for no obvious reason. He is always giving him dirty looks and ignoring him. He confronted him in a supermarket just for waving at him. Every time I see the married guy he mentions my boyfriend.
Recently, me and my partner have bought a house and moved in together. The married guy is even more surly towards me. He still smiles and stares at me but you can tell he’s annoyed about it.
why is he being like this? Just winds me up because his mood and attitude is so changeable.
