Should I cut contact outside of work with this guy? ?

When he sees me and is with me at work he talks as though he likes me and wants to meet up. He acts interested in me. But then when he's off work and doesn't see me, it's as though he loses interest in me. He's giving mixed signals

Sorry, I meant cut contact by not messaging him outside of work anymore. I've only ever saw him once outside of work. He keeps saying about meeting g up but never does

He sometimes messages me first. Last week he messaged to say well have to arrange to meet up, bit nothings materialized. Once when I tried to make areangemts, he said he was too busy
