Why would a guy block you?

So I've had a friend who was a crush of mine for 2 years and he blocked me on Facebook today. He always seemed like a nice guy but started ghosting me for a few weeks. So why would a guy block you?

More than likely he's currently seeing or pursing someone else. That or he realizes you like him (or someone told him) and, if the feeling isn't mutual, he ghosted and blocked you as a not so subtle way of saying, "He's not interested."

Regardless, anyone that blocks and deletes you? I'd leave him alone. It sucks, especially if he used to be a friend, but don't analyze over it too much. Nor would I recommend trying to reach out to him or see why he stopped talking to you; it will only make you feel worse as bad as that sounds.

In my experience there's only 2 possible reasons:

1) He's doing it to prove a point. Maybe to let you know he is over you.

2) He doesn't like what your posting or how much your posting and he hit block instead of unfollow.
