We die inside. A truly broken heart will change us forever.

Asker+1 ywhat you mean guys do more than cry? what makes guys change forever in what way?
Opinion Owner+1 yA woman loves with her mind and only as long as it is convenient for her.
When men actually love, we love with our entire soul. We sacrifice everything for the happiness of our partner.
When our heart gets broken, it crushes us. It changes who we are as a person. It takes us forever to trust again, to allow ourselves to feel that way again.
Opinion Owner+1 y@liam dude You have no idea about women.
If your rebuttals are personal attacks, they will be removed.
Asker+1 ywhat if you are the one is the fault or you are the one betrayed her

1.1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. It's funny how some guys and gals think men and women are different species or something. Why don't realize that people are people and are capable of having the same feelings and emotions? The only thing is, every individual is different.
I had girlfriends from the time I was 16. There was only one that I truly fell in love with. I didn't know what love was before then. She was 30, I was 37, and we practically lived together for over a year. She loved me, too.
At some point, we separated for reasons that are complicated, but didn't have anything to do with cheating or meanness or anything.
Without her, I felt like my guts had literally been kicked. Sometimes I doubled over and almost felt nauseous. And yes, sometimes I bawled so hard that my head ached. It felt worse than the death of a loved one. I had never felt such pain.
It took close to a year for me to pull myself together and get back out there. I didn't get over her, but I realized that we were not meant to be life partners, so I moved on and met my future wife two years later.
We've been married for over 25 years, but I still love and will never forget that one particular girlfriend.
She reconnected with me on Facebook about 20 years after we separated. We spoke on the phone a few times. I was overjoyed to be in touch and follow how she was doing. About five years later, I read that she had passed away from a sudden medical problem at age 55.
I cried over that news several times over the next few days. A brilliant light had been extinguished. It left a hole in my heart that will never heal.
00 ReplyWe're not robots. Enough failed relationships and we just get better at compartmentalizing the relationship to avoid emotional issues in the future. Women who don't understand that we're human and fail to treat us as such are a pretty common culprit.

It’s disgusting to see a man cry. What could've happened to make him break like that and abandon all composure? It’s disgraceful. He’ll cry and then it’s done. Moving on to the next issue in life. If we weren’t like that losing our brothers, wives, and children would leave everyone vulnerable and we can’t allow that. Men are the embodiment of strength and competence. It’s not about people seeing us cry cause we’re embarrassed it’s about being strong enough to handle what comes even if we break inside.
+1 yI didn't, it felt like I almost would, I ended up just sleeping, maybe if I was put in a situation where I had to talk about it it'd have been a different story, I'm not sure though, after all last time I've cried that wasn't physical pain related was when I was 11
00 ReplyLol obviously…….. if guys kill themselves when heart broken obviously they’ll cry!

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yThey can be suicidal. And guys will actually pull the trigger. Whereas women don’t commit suicide as much and instead self harm or something.
03 Reply- +1 y
The rate of attempted suicides greater for women but because men as so much more violent they succeed far more often.
Asker+1 yso guys get emotional too and cry
Opinion Owner+1 yThey do cry but much less often and internalize it. It becomes depression, guilt, anxiety, rage, etc. That’s probably why they are much more violent and aggressive when ding harm to others and themselves. Or maybe it’s the hormones I don't know.
