Someone assaulted me and said he wants to date , I feel really bad, what should I do?

Hey Guys..

So this is dumb i know that.

I met a guy recently ( we knew each other for a year but not close )

He asked me out , drove me to his bar and started assaulting me even i asked him to stop.( he putted his fingers in me and tried to take off my clothes. he finally stopped when i screamed and beg him not to)

Then He tried to convince me that he liked me long ago he texted me everyday and stopped when he saw me hanging out with another guy ( which is my best friend)

He said He got arrested for having drugs and been there half year so he wasn't able to contact me. he came out and asking me out was the first thing in his mind. He wants to date me but when i asked him when was my birthday what's my full name, he didn't even know. he didn't even send me flowers or anything.

I feel very bad after this.

I feel like maybe i gave him wrong signal so it leaded to this. i let him held my hand when we were in the car...

Your reaction is very typical. Women who are assaulted or raped, usually feel dirty afterwards, because they think they have caused the incident. This is completely, absolutely wrong in any possible sense. This is an unfortunate side effect of educating women through a sexist paradigm, leading them to think they must take responsibility for any crap men do, continuously nurturing and absorbing everything, lifting them from any issue that involves their decisions, right or wrong they are.
If so, what are men supposed to be, then, on the other side? Patients? Handicapped people who need constant assistance, justifications and tolerance for anything they do because they can't really control any impulse? Even when assaulting someone? Oh boy, if the whole gender is supposed to be like that, let's close them all in specialized buildings for psychiatric patients, right? No, that's not how it works. Fortunately, a big portion of men can take their minimum responsibilities for their own actions and decisions, and are not that degenerated and immature to not be able to stop an action upon impulse. This is monkey-level subhuman, and this is not what men would like to be considered, afterall.

Back to you, the assault is 100% his fault. Think about that: why thousands of other guys didn't assault you on the street, or guys you dated, or guys you simply hanged out with? Because they are properly civilized. It's about them, not about you. You don't assault someone because they "let" you hold their hand in the car. Let alone in 2022 where the awareness about these things is higher than ever. If he thought it was a green light to finger you, he has a huge problem. And the fact he got arrested for other reasons speaks volumes about how he is generally wicked.
You do not owe him anything but complete silence and disappearance. Imagine what else he could do if he randomly interprets things his way and decides you deserve to be beaten up. Stay away from this psycho, don't even keep replying to his messages, cut away all the chances he has to contact you. Why even rewarding him still now with your attention? Why giving a prize to his behaviour by still replying to his messages? You would just communicate him that what he did was afterall tolerable, okay, acceptable. It wasn't. But afterall you're still there, even hoping for flowers? You get assaulted and then want to give him a chance to date you? It looks like you really want to get really into troubles with all your efforts, trapping yourself into something dangerous, deliberately.
Quit every communication as fast as you can. An overload of other guys you'll meet are far away and far better than this scum you met. Don't you want to be free and safe, ready for those better (normal) guys? Well...

Did you or did you not consent to this? From what I’ve read you 100% did not consent this. This was no “rape fantasy” come true, right? You did not enjoy any of this, correct? This is flat out sexual assault.

This guy is a utter sack of shit and you need to report him. I don’t understand why you are feeling cognitive dissonance about this. The fact he was forceful with you against your will is NOT a sign of masculine strength. You flat out verbally told to him to stop and you screamed.
