Why doesn’t my boyfriend want me to touch his hair?

I’m white and he’s mixed with a fro, so I don’t know if that’s for some reason why. When we kiss or have sex or even just when he’s laying on me I’ll try to run my hand through his hair and he’ll move my hand to a different place like his back or move away if we’re cuddling. I’ve asked him what’s wrong and he doesn’t freaky say anything. I don’t know what to think

Obviously it is not comfortable. Does he use a pick to comb? It could simply hurt as the hair structure is not same as white guy. Maybe he don't want you warping his head... destroying his look? What don't you ask? He is your guy and I doubt he would not tell you. Ask what you want...

Could just be sensitive. Could be some insecurity.

Try some leading questions. Such as asking if it hurts, if it is uncomfortable, tickles and so on. After eliminating the physical bits you'll know it is some mental hangup. Maybe he saw a gray hair or the hairline moved up a bit? We're vain and insecure you know.

Some guys are just sensitive in that way, so leave his hair alone, lol.
