Guys, Boys, what does it mean when he does this?

a guy and I were talking for about a month. Where he claimed to be in love with me, he face timed me , bought me gifts and we had a lot of relationship activities. Then the arguments came and his loving personality disappeared and we became more distanced till I dropped him after him saying a lot of things which he says was out of anger and not taking things seriously anymore.

The guy and I don’t talk anymore but what we had was really special. He even kept my name written on his arm for days and his friends confirmed with me how much of in love he was with me.

One week after we stopped talking, he told me he got a new girlfriend. Kinda quick. I didn’t care cuz I’m not that type of girl but I found out he styll wears the golden bracelet I gave him. He said it’s so that he will “never forget me” and that his new girlfriend is okay with it.

he also follows me on all social platforms styll and likes my posts. Sort of stalks it sometimesz

my question is. Does this mean I meant a lot to him at the time we were together or is this just because he happens to like what I post.

To me, all this means is that you guys were moving VERY fast at a young age, and expecting too much from each other. I'm sure you also didn't do much investigation into each other as to whether you were compatible with each other long-term. In other words, you almost certainly got into your "relationship" based 100% on feelings and 0% on any practical foundation. You can do that if all you are looking for is casual sex or a "casual" relationship (with no commitment), but if you want a commitment and if you expect that relationship to have ANY chance of lasting, you have to put in the work up-front.

This means asking each other about your morals, values, and life-goals. I'll give you a few examples, but there are many more beyond this list, and some that are going to be pretty specific to you, even though they might not apply at all to most people.

Talk about how each of you feel about things like:

• relationship commitment
• marriage
• pregnancy/kids
• family
• money/finances
• religion
• lifestyle
• career goals
• relationship roles and expectations
• family obligations
• disclose anything that makes you "outside of normal expectations."

(Yes, I get that a few of these *might* be a bit premature for your age, but the answers are still worth knowing.) You should probably realize that, at your age, any relationship you have now is NOT likely to be the last one, so you should keep your expectations realistic and grounded, and not expect to have a life-time relationship while you're in high school. Having said that, you will be encouraged NOT to get into a serious relationship until your 30s, and that's a HUGE mistake in my opinion. Assuming you want marriage and kids, you should be looking for a husband and suitable father in your early 20s, and be married by 25, if you want the best possible outcome. And that means taking relationships seriously, and choosing men based on morals, values, and life-goals, rather than on which guy is hot and scores you points on Instagram.
